Consultant Pathologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay informed about advancements in pathology and medical research
• Oversee the cytopathology service department and laboratory operations
• Analyze blood samples for transfusions, including blood type compatibility and cell morphology
• Conduct gross examinations and provide anatomical pathology services as needed
• Ensure proper collection, handling, and processing of all laboratory specimens
• Accurately log and document laboratory test data, integrating results into patient records
• Deliver comprehensive written evaluations and diagnoses for each case

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pathology
• Proven experience as a Pathologist or in a similar role
• Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in pathology
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
