Job description

We are currently seeking a Recruiter - Temporary Role (6 months contract), reporting directly to the P&C Head, to join our HR team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

About the role :
  1. Manage the entire recruitment process — from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and negotiating offers — for technical roles within the upstream oil & gas and related energy sectors.
  2. Build and maintain strong pipelines of industry professionals using various channels, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific networks.
  3. Collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to clearly define role requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  4. Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor hiring practices to refine recruitment strategies.
  6. Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate regular reports on key metrics and hiring progress.

About you :
  1. 2-3 years of recruitment experience in upstream oil & gas (with a focus on drilling and well services), energy, or renewables in the Middle East.
  2. Proven experience in recruitment agencies or working with oil field service companies.
  3. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other job boards.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates and stakeholders.
  5. Deep understanding of the regional labor market and industry-specific roles.
  6. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and achieve set targets.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  8. Relevant HR or recruitment certifications are an advantage.
