  • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program is required.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred.
  • Strong surgical skills and experience in a broad range of orthopedic procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans that may include surgical intervention, physical therapy, and medication management
  • Perform a variety of orthopedic surgeries, focusing on best practices to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
  • Oversee the entire patient care process from preoperative assessments through postoperative follow-ups
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and recovery processes
  • Engage in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic practices and technologies
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements
