Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with neurological disorders
  • Formulate and implement individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans
  • Conduct intricate neurosurgical procedures for conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nerves
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patients receive the best recovery support
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to coordinate patient diagnoses and treatments
  • Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and post-surgery care
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to remain current in the field
  • Contribute to clinical research initiatives aimed at enhancing surgical methodologies and patient care strategies

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Neurosurgery
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in neurosurgery
  • Strong background in performing a range of complex neurosurgical procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic and patient evaluation skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and families
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
