Job summary

Dr Expat (Abu Dhabi) seeks a Consultant Neurologist with a subspecialty in movement disorders to join a leading tertiary care hospital’s neurology department. The role requires board certification in Neurology and fellowship in Movement Disorders, with DBS experience a plus.

Minimum DOH licence or eligibility is required. Salary is tax-free with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to advance in a premier tertiary centre in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology from a recognised Western board (e.g. American Board, UK CCT, Canadian Royal College, Australian or European specialist qualification).
• Fellowship or formal training in Movement Disorders.
• Experience managing Parkinson's disease, dystonia and tremor, including botulinum toxin therapy; DBS programming experience is an advantage.
• Consultant-level experience in a tertiary or university hospital.
• DOH licence, or eligible for DOH licensing.

Responsibilities

• Consultant Neurologist with subspecialty in movement disorders joining the neurology department.
• Provide care for movement disorders and supervise related therapies within a tertiary hospital setting.
