Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree required.
• Postgraduate in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology/Diabetes & Endocrinology.
• Eligible for UAE license and Consultant title.
• Minimum 3 years post-training experience in relevant specialty.
• Experience in diabetes and endocrine disorders.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic internal medicine, endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Provide specialist care for diabetes mellitus and complex endocrine disorders, including thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid and calcium/metabolic conditions.
• Manage patients across outpatient and inpatient settings within granted clinical privileges.
• Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans.
• Provide specialist consultations and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and appropriate continuity of care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit and departmental initiatives.
• Support the education, supervision and professional development of physicians and other clinical staff.
• Maintain continuing medical education and remain current with developments and best practices in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MBChB or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate/specialty qualification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology/Diabetes & Endocrinology,
• meeting the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements.
• Eligible for a Consultant title and medical licence under the relevant UAE licensing authority.
• Minimum 3 years of post-training experience in the relevant specialty.
• Comprehensive experience managing general internal medicine, diabetes and endocrine disorders.
• Strong clinical judgement, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and deliver patient-centred care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
