This position focuses on delivering advanced hematology care across both benign and malignant disorders within a multidisciplinary, academic-oriented hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of hematologic conditions including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukemias, lymphomas, and myeloma.
• Manage inherited and acquired blood disorders such as hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and coagulation abnormalities.
• Oversee and perform bone marrow biopsies, transfusion management, and chemotherapy protocols.
• Provide consultative hematology services for both inpatient and outpatient departments.
• Collaborate closely with oncology, pathology, radiology, and laboratory teams to ensure integrated patient care.
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and long‑term disease management.
• Contribute to academic teaching, clinical training, and continuing medical education programs.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation in line with DOH and hospital standards.
