Job summary

Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Consultant Hemato-Oncology with BMT expertise to diagnose and manage hematology patients and lead bone marrow transplant services in Abu Dhabi. You will work within a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver evidence-based care in a modern tertiary setting.

The role requires hands-on experience in autologous and allogeneic BMT, with a focus on quality, governance, and teaching. A UAE license or eligibility is essential for practice in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• MBBS with DM/DNB/MD in Hematology or Hemato-Oncology.
• Fellowship or specialized BMT training.
• 5–8 years post-qualification Consultant experience.
• Hands-on autologous and allogeneic BMT experience.
• Exposure to malignant and benign hematological disorders.
• Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage malignant and benign hematological disorders.
• Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic BMT procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for hematology/hemato-oncology patients.
• Collaborate with oncology, pathology, radiology, and ICU teams.
• Monitor transplant patients and manage post-transplant complications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, governance, and QA initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per UAE standards.
• Support teaching, research, and CME activities.
