Job summary

We Staffed HR seeks an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. You will provide high-quality diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive care for GI and hepatobiliary conditions.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing GI, liver, pancreatic disorders; performing endoscopy and colonoscopy; coordinating with surgeons and nurses; maintaining records; and staying current with guidelines to ensure patient safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience as Consultant/Specialist Gastroenterologist.
• Experience with endoscopic procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, as appropriate.
• Manage both acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide appropriate follow-up care and monitor patients' treatment outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, nurses, radiologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
• Provide appropriate referrals and coordinate multidisciplinary patient care when required.
• Stay updated with current medical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and developments in gastroenterology.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and professional ethics.

Requirements
