About the Role

The Consultant Family Medicine Physician will deliver broad primary and preventive healthcare across the lifespan. The role combines clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, routine health screening, and patient education within a patient-centered model of care. The consultant will manage a diverse range of presentations while identifying cases that require specialist evaluation and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Family Medicine and primary healthcare services across different age groups.
• Conduct consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
• Assess and manage cardiovascular risk factors.
• Diagnose and treat common respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions.
• Manage common infections and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Assess thyroid and other endocrine disorders within the scope of Family Medicine.
• Provide preventive healthcare, routine medical assessments, and appropriate health screening.
• Perform age-appropriate health checks and vaccinations where applicable.
• Provide women 's health and men 's health services within the approved scope of practice.
• Deliver basic pediatric and adolescent primary care.
• Identify patients requiring specialist assessment and arrange appropriate referrals.
• Develop individualized treatment and preventive care plans.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle modification, nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention.
• Coordinate patient management with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Required Qualifications
