Qualifications

• Internationally trained with recognised qualifications such as those listed.
• American Board of Emergency Medicine, UK CCT / FRCEM, European Board of Emergency Medicine, Royal College Certification (Canada), Australian FACEM, Arab Board, MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and pediatric presentations.
• Run resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation and critical decision-making in the emergency department.
• Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams and coordinate timely specialist referrals.
• Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit decisions, transfers and discharge planning.
• Participate in disaster preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training and clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate emergency documentation, medico-legal compliance and patient safety standards.

ROLE OVERVIEW
