Job Summary
The Consultant Emergency Medicine will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide emergency medical treatment to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Diagnose and treat patients with various medical emergencies, including but not limited to trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and acute poisoning.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
4. Oversee the management and training of junior medical staff and residents.
5. Participate in medical research and contribute to the development of best practices in emergency medicine.
6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in emergency medicine.

Qualifications

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification/fellowship in Emergency Medicine from recognized international board (e.g. American Board/CAN, Australian, UK, CCST, CCT).
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Emergency Medicine in a reputable hospital.
4. Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
5. Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligible to obtain one).
6. Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well in a team.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
