On behalf of a leading private hospital in Dubai, we are seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist with strong expertise in aesthetic dermatology for a contract of at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

The hospital is part of an international healthcare group known for its high clinical standards and modern facilities. The patient population consists largely of international, European, and VIP patients who expect high-quality clinical care, excellent communication, and personalized service.

About the role:

As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will work with both medical and aesthetic dermatology in a modern private hospital environment. The position has a particular focus on aesthetic treatments and is suited to specialists with extensive clinical experience who wish to further develop their expertise in this field.

You will manage a broad range of dermatological conditions and perform both medical and aesthetic treatments. The role involves close patient interaction, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing care for patients who expect high standards of quality, communication, and treatment outcomes.

The hospital serves an international patient population, some of whom prefer to be treated by a female physician. The employer has therefore expressed a particular preference for female candidates for this position.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues and other specialists in an international, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Typical responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic dermatological conditions
• Outpatient consultations in medical dermatology
• Aesthetic consultations and individualized treatment planning
• Injectable treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers
• Laser treatments and other cosmetic dermatology procedures
• Skin examinations, diagnosis, and medical follow-up
• Patient counseling and follow-up before and after aesthetic procedures
• Collaboration with other specialists and healthcare professionals
• Contributing to quality improvement, patient safety, and excellent patient experiences

We are looking for someone who

Is a qualified specialist in dermatology:

• Has at least five years of clinical experience at specialist or consultant level following specialist qualification
• Has documented experience in aesthetic dermatology
• Has practical experience with injectable treatments, laser procedures, and other aesthetic treatments
• Can provide documentation of relevant clinical experience and procedures performed
• Has excellent English communication skills
• Communicates confidently and effectively with patients and colleagues
• Demonstrates a professional manner and a strong patient-centered approach
• Thrives in a high-volume clinical environment
• Is motivated to work in an international, performance-driven healthcare setting

Preferred candidate background:

• We are particularly interested in candidates who completed their specialist training and currently hold specialist recognition in one of the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Ireland, the United Kingdom (with CCT), Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, or South Korea.

These qualifications are highly regarded within the UAE licensing framework and typically allow for a streamlined licensing process.

Working hours:

• Six working days per week
• Working days of up to 10 hours
• Working hours and clinical activity may vary depending on patient volume and the hospital’s operational requirements

Salary and benefits:

• The base salary is approximately AED 100,000 per month, equivalent to around €24,300 per month or €290,000 per year, depending on exchange rates.
• In addition to the base salary, commission-based compensation may be available, linked to clinical activity and aesthetic procedures performed. This provides the opportunity for higher overall earnings depending on patient volume and clinical activity.

The UAE does not impose personal income tax on employment income. However, individual tax obligations may vary depending on tax residency and any continuing tax liabilities in your home country.

Licensing and relocation:

• The employer provides comprehensive assistance throughout the medical licensing process, with a dedicated team guiding candidates from application to approval.
• Qualifications, specialist recognition, and documented clinical experience will be assessed against the relevant licensing requirements in Dubai. Practical experience in aesthetic dermatology and relevant procedures will be particularly important for this position.
• We also work with a local relocation partner in the UAE who provides practical assistance with moving and settling in. This support is available whether you are relocating independently or bringing your partner or family.

Due to the licensing process, relocation arrangements, and the time required to establish yourself in Dubai, the position is offered with a minimum 12-month contract.
