Job summary

TalentSpoc is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to lead comprehensive dermatological care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments within a leading UAE healthcare facility.

The role requires postgraduate specialization in Dermatology, extensive clinical expertise, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team while ensuring high patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology / Dermatology & Venereology such as MD, DNB, MRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent.
• Significant post-specialization experience, including experience at Consultant level.
• Strong expertise in clinical and procedural dermatology.
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dermatological consultations, examinations, and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatological conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic results.
• Manage conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, pigmentation disorders, hair and scalp disorders, infections, and skin cancers.
• Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, minor surgical procedures, and other treatments within the scope of expertise.
• Provide appropriate laser, aesthetic, and cosmetic dermatology treatments where applicable.
• Evaluate and manage hair loss and other disorders of the hair and nails.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Review and interpret laboratory, histopathology, dermoscopy, and other diagnostic findings.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and preventive skincare.
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical degree

Postgraduate qualification in Dermatology / Dermatology & Venereology (MD, DNB, MRCP, Arab Board, etc.)
