Job summary

PulseHire HR Middle East seeks a Consultant Anesthesiologist to join a leading UAE healthcare provider. You will deliver consultant-level anaesthesia across elective and emergency surgeries, with duties spanning pre-anaesthetic assessments and perioperative optimization, supported by a modern surgical and monitoring setup.

The role emphasizes patient safety, multidisciplinary collaboration and ongoing clinical governance, with licensing and relocation support as part of the package.

Qualifications

• MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent in Anaesthesiology.
• American Board certification in Anesthesiology.
• UK CCT / FRCA in Anaesthetics.
• European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.
• Royal College certification (Canada) in Anesthesiology.
• Australian and New Zealand FANZCA.
• Arab Board certification in Anaesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments, risk stratification and perioperative optimisation for complex patients.
• Provide general, regional, neuraxial and monitored anaesthesia care in line with privileges and protocols.
• Manage airway emergencies, postoperative recovery, acute pain and perioperative complications; collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and OR teams.
• Participate in governance, morbidity and mortality reviews, audits and quality improvement initiatives in anaesthesia services.
