The role involves delivering safe perioperative care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases, with a focus on complex and emergency cases in a well-equipped hospital setting.

Candidates should hold a medical degree and a recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia, with strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia/Anaesthesiology.
• Strong experience in perioperative and anesthesia management, including complex and emergency cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and determine anesthesia plans.
• Administer and manage general, regional, and other anesthesia techniques.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide perioperative management for high-risk and emergency cases.
• Ensure post-operative pain management and patient recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in emergency response and critical care activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient-safety compliance.
• Contribute to quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
• Support junior physicians and contribute to teaching and knowledge sharing.
