Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE seeks an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist with UK CCT to join its specialist team. Provide comprehensive perioperative anaesthesia services and contribute to high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

The role involves pre-operative assessments, administering anaesthesia, perioperative management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. UAE DOH licensing eligibility and strong leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Anaesthetics / Anaesthesia.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• DOH (Abu Dhabi) medical licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level anaesthesia services for elective and emergency procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general, regional, and other appropriate forms of anaesthesia.
• Provide perioperative management, including airway management and haemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage complex and high-risk surgical cases.
• Provide post-operative pain management and monitor patient recovery.
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in resuscitation services.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical governance, teaching, training, and quality-improvement activities.
