Job description

The Consulate General of Japan in Dubai is seeking to recruit new staff members for the two positions listed below:

Positions
  1. Consular Affairs Assistant
    Must be able to work in English.
    Japanese language skills are an advantage.
    Must have basic PC skills (Word, Excel).
  2. Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Assistant
    Must be able to work in both English and Japanese.
    Experience in event management and social media management is an advantage.
Employment Conditions
  1. Working Hours:
    Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour break)
    Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:15 PM
    Closed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and other holidays as determined by the Consulate.
  2. Compensation:
    Salary based on experience and qualifications.
    3-month probationary period followed by formal employment.
    Benefits: Medical insurance and an annual bonus. Housing allowance, transportation costs, meal allowance, and home leave travel expenses are not provided.
