Construction Supervisor - Marine projects

Al Dhafra, UAE

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Supervisor with a strong background in marine infrastructure projects to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing marine works such as jetties, breakwaters, quay walls, dredging, and reclamation, with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The selected candidate will initially be working on projects in Al Dhafra region (Delma and Sila) in UAE, and will be provided with accommodation in Al Dhafra by the Client.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise daily construction activities on marine project sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.

• Monitor and report progress, quality, and safety performance to senior management.

• Ensure all marine construction activities adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines.

• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, and workforce.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and safety compliance.

• Resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance to construction teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, inspection records, and material logs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in marine projects in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of marine construction techniques and equipment.

• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and environmental standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification

• PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional but advantageous)
