Construction Senior Supervisor

The Construction Senior Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position involves close coordination with contractors, engineers, and project managers to monitor daily site operations, manage teams, and troubleshoot issues. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of UAE construction regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervising and coordinating daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
2. Leading site teams, subcontractors, and laborers to execute tasks according to approved plans and specifications.
3. Monitoring work progress and addressing any delays or site issues proactively to keep the project on track.
4. Ensuring compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site operations.
5. Conducting routine site inspections to verify workmanship, material quality, and adherence to design drawings.
6. Collaborating with project engineers and management to review progress, resolve technical problems, and update schedules.
7. Verifying deliveries, material usage, and inventory control to prevent waste and ensure efficient resource utilization.
8. Preparing daily and weekly reports on site activities, manpower utilization, and project milestones.
9. Supporting quality assurance and control procedures to meet client and consultant expectations.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in construction supervision, with at least 2 years in a senior site role.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UAE building codes and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to manage site staff effectively.
5. Proficiency in reading construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
6. Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.
7. Strong commitment to safety standards and ability to implement site safety procedures.
8. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
9. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
