Job summary

Secretariat in Dubai is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveying Manager to join our Construction Quantum Team. The role involves supporting Expert Witnesses, conducting data analysis, and drafting sections of reports for dispute resolution across global projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in quantity surveying or cost engineering, experience with Expert Witnesses, and strong MS Office and cost-estimation tool skills. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, quantity surveying or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering, contracts management, or construction management.
• Experience with Expert Witnesses and leading streams of work is preferred.
• Strong software skills: MS Office, cost estimation tools, and data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support testifying Expert Witnesses and contribute to dispute resolution.
• Perform data research, management and analysis, drafting sections of expert reports.
• Review documentation to identify key details and metrics for expert reports.
• Assist in valuations and handling big data.
• Manage the workload of the project team and budgets.
