Job summary

HR Orb Consultancy LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead planning, execution, coordination and successful completion of assigned projects. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in accordance with quality standards and HSE requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with 8–10 years of construction project experience and at least 4 years in a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional certifications in project management or construction will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned construction projects.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, manpower plans and resource requirements.
• Identify potential delays and develop recovery plans where required.
• Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget and review subcontractor and supplier costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Act as the primary project-level point of contact for clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and technical teams to ensure timely availability of approved drawings and technical information.
• Ensure site execution is in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate daily site activities with construction engineers, supervisors and site teams.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Work with the QA/QC team to maintain project quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Dubai regulatory requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections and incident investigations and take immediate corrective action where unsafe practices are identified.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and snagging activities.
• Ensure timely closure of project snags and outstanding works.
• Coordinate preparation of handover documentation.
• Ensure successful client handover and project close-out.
• Support final account and contractual close-out activities.

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, to the required quality standards and in compliance with HSE and contractual requirements.
