Job Title: Project Construction Manager – Infrastructure Development

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Construction Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end execution of infrastructure development projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of handling large-scale civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, marine works, or industrial developments.

The candidate must ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with safety and quality standards, and in line with client and regulatory expectations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Execution:
  • Develop detailed project execution plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor day-to-day site operations to ensure timely progress and adherence to quality standards.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors effectively.
  • Allocate tasks and provide guidance to construction teams.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
  1. Budget & Cost Control:
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement and resource utilization.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with project financial targets.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Enforce high-quality construction standards and ensure proper QA/QC processes are followed.
  • Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
  1. Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce site-specific HSE plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities for permits and approvals.
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve technical or logistical challenges promptly to avoid delays.
  1. Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, site logs, RFI logs, and progress records.
  • Ensure timely submission of project deliverables and claims.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field .
  • 12 to 14 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure project execution and management.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as per project requirements.
