Job Title: Construction Manager

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology/Engineering in Civil
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in high-rise construction projects
  • Experience working in GCC region preferred
  • Available in GCC region preferred

Job Description:

We are hiring Construction Managers for high-rise projects in the UAE. Candidates with relevant high-rise project experience and GCC exposure are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure project targets (daily, monthly, quarterly) are achieved effectively.
  2. Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring progress aligns with contractual agreements through meetings, documentation, and responsibilities.
  3. Break down the project plan into detailed tasks with timelines, collaborating with the Project Planner and site management teams.
  4. Coordinate efforts across Civil, MEP, subcontractors, interior design teams, and authorities to adhere to schedules.
  5. Plan procurement proactively, especially for long-lead items, coordinating with the Lead Planner and Project Manager.
  6. Manage invoicing, including timely submissions, claims for variations, and extensions of time.
  7. Document design or specification changes, conduct impact analyses, and seek client approval for additional work.
  8. Manage resource demobilization to prevent cost overruns.
  9. Maintain health and safety standards with proper training, PPE, and site housekeeping.
  10. Build strong relationships with clients and consultants to promote repeat business.
  11. Ensure compliance with quality standards outlined in the Quality Manual.
  12. Report site discrepancies or errors to the Project Manager for resolution.
