The successful candidate will be a key part of the Engineering Team, responsible for project and construction management of industrial development including new builds, retrofits, expansion, and program initiatives from site selection through contract execution. Construction Managers oversee the construction of new Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Sortation Centers (SCs), Delivery Stations (DSs), and auxiliary buildings, as well as renovations & tenant improvements at existing facilities.
They will also handle implementation of facility network infrastructure, perform detailed reviews of budgets and programs, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently. The role serves as Amazon's representative and primary interface with Developers and General Contractors, integrating construction with other Amazon stakeholders responsible for FC operations. This position combines construction engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management.

The role is based in Dubai, UAE, with 40-60% travel domestically or to other AMET countries.
You will represent Amazon GES, ensuring successful project delivery, process improvement, and safety and sustainability standards. You will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and manage site validation, risk analysis, design, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with both frontline and executive managers.
