Job description

The Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of residential and mixed-use development projects for the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role serves as a key interface between stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams, driving efficiency, compliance, and innovation to achieve the company’s vision of delivering world-class developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage all construction activities for residential and mixed-use projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and address any quality issues promptly.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Manage project budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial efficiency.

Scheduling and Planning:

  • Review detailed construction schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to address delays.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor site teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all project participants.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Enforce HSE standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company policies.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 08 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on residential and mixed-use projects.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Regional Experience: Prior experience in the UAE or GCC market is a must.
