Job description

As the Construction Integrator, you must have experience in all aspects of building construction, including electrical, mechanical, and civil/structural. You will monitor, inspect, document, and advise on construction projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  1. Monitor, inspect, document, and advise on projects as required.
  2. Attend weekly construction meetings for specific projects to ensure the US government is informed of the most up-to-date information. Participate in project-specific meetings on a weekly basis.
  3. Prepare and submit weekly reports on project status and progress to the SM and COR.
  4. Update project data from all active construction projects in an integrated master schedule at least weekly.
  5. Verify measurements, construction adequacy, and work being completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Conduct site visits as needed.
  6. Read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents, including schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and related documents.
  7. Analyze procedures to identify deficiencies, monitor project phasing, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  8. Observe and inspect ongoing construction work, oversee record-keeping activities, and recommend change orders.
  9. Review proposed change orders submitted by contractors, prepare reports, and maintain a daily log of activities, weather conditions, and work quantities.
  10. Ensure all construction is performed in accordance with the statement of work and government-approved documents; review shop drawings and product submittals promptly and accurately.
  11. Notify the government of non-compliance within 24 hours of inspection, providing detailed reports.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • 10 years of experience in construction field/inspection, or
  • Associates Degree in Construction Management with 15 years of experience in construction, or
  • Experience in civil/structural projects.
  • American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete testing certification is preferred (successful candidate will be required to obtain).
  • Knowledge of the International Building Code, NFPA Fire Codes, and NEC, along with general construction practices.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS :

SECURITY CLEARANCE : Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
