Job summary

TradesApp in Dubai seeks an experienced HR Manager to run day-to-day operations for a large site-based construction workforce. This hands-on role covers onboarding to exit, payroll alignment with WPS, and ensuring compliance with UAE and Dubai labor laws across head office, project sites and labor camps.

You will design company-specific HR policies, manage employee relations for a diverse blue-collar workforce, visit sites regularly, maintain records, and coordinate with MOHRE and immigration

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience in UAE construction industry, hands-on operations
• Proven track record managing a large blue-collar workforce
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and Dubai-specific HR rules

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for head office, project sites and labor camps
• Lead onboarding and offboarding, including visas, labor cards, medicals and Emirates ID processes
• Oversee payroll inputs and salary processing in line with WPS requirements; calculate end-of-service gratuity and final settlements
• Stay current with UAE Labor Law and Dubai regulations; update HR practices as rules change
• Draft and maintain company-specific HR policy handbook and roll it out across the workforce
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters for a multicultural blue-collar workforce
• Conduct regular site and labor-camp visits to engage employees and ensure welfare and compliance
• Maintain accurate HR records, leave and attendance tracking, and MIS reporting
• Coordinate with MOHRE, immigration and other authorities as required
• Advise department heads on HR matters; uphold integrity and confidentiality
