Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services is seeking an experienced General Liability claims professional to manage a Dubai-based caseload, including construction defect exposures. You will investigate liability, damages, and coverage implications while gathering documentation and reports.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, effective negotiation, and the ability to work independently with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience handling General Liability claims.
• Construction defect experience preferred.
• Familiarity with state-specific claims handling regulations and licensing requirements.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of General Liability claims, including construction defect exposures.
• Investigate claims to determine liability, damages, and coverage implications.
• Gather and analyze claim documentation, reports, contracts, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, contractors, experts, and clients.
• Evaluate claim exposure and develop resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward timely, cost-effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and file management.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and client service expectations.
