Job summary

Azizi Group in Dubai is seeking a Construction Manager Civil to lead and manage all civil construction activities for HV/EHV substation projects, ensuring execution aligns with specifications, timelines and safety standards. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and MEP teams, supervise subcontractors, enforce QA/QC and HSE, and report progress while mitigating risks.

You will interface with clients and authorities for approvals, manage large-scale site teams, and drive project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in substation construction.
• Experience with DEWA/SEWA/TRANSCO projects preferred.
• Ability to manage large-scale site operations and teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end civil works including foundations, control building, cable trenches, equipment plinths and road works.
• Review IFC drawings and method statements, ensuring compliance with DEWA/SEWA/TRANSCO standards.
• Plan, monitor and control site execution per baseline and recovery schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and MEP teams for seamless project delivery.
• Manage subcontractors, site engineers and workforce productivity.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance inspections and documentation as per project requirements.
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure a safe working environment.
• Track project progress, prepare reports and highlight risks or delays with mitigation plans.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities for approvals and inspections.

Construction Manager Civil (Substation Projects)

Role Overview:

Lead and manage all civil construction activities for HV/EHV substation projects (e.g. 132kV / 220kV / 400kV) ensuring execution in line with project specifications timelines budget and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end civil works including foundations control building cable trenches equipment plinths and road works.


• Review IFC drawings method statements and ensure compliance with DEWA/SEWA/ADDC standards.


• Plan monitor and control site execution as per baseline and recovery schedules.


• Coordinate with engineering procurement and MEP teams for seamless project delivery.


• Manage subcontractors site engineers and workforce productivity.


• Ensure QA/QC compliance inspections and documentation as per project requirements.


• Enforce HSE standards and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
