Job summary

Live Connections in Dubai is seeking experienced Site Engineers – Civil / Electrical for HV Substation projects. The role demands hands-on site execution, electrical equipment installation and coordination with civil, QA/QC and HSE teams. You will supervise site activities from mobilization to handover, ensure drawings/specs compliance, and maintain thorough site records for successful project completion. UAE/GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant site engineering experience.
• HV Substation project experience is mandatory.
• Strong site execution and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil and/or electrical construction activities at site.
• Manage site activities from establishment through project execution to handover.
• Ensure construction aligns with drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, QA/QC and HSE teams for smooth execution.
• Supervise contractors and monitor manpower, materials and productivity.
• Review drawings and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve site issues.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain site records, documentation and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and project management teams.
