What are you going to do
- Review and ensure adherence to all Consortium and Company policies, procedures, and controls to fulfill all procedural and legislative requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective product and service aligned with the Company vision and mission.
- Establish and implement controls to prevent violations of ISR regulations, protecting company information and intellectual properties.
- Coordinate with the Company Quality Management Division, Consortium Partners, and Sub-contractors for efficient resource planning, availability, and allocations to meet Project Quality Objectives.
- Assist in developing and managing the EPCI Project Consortium Quality Function Budget and contribute to the overall EPC Quality & Compliance Function Budget.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the EPCI Project QMS aligned with the Company QMS and Project Quality Requirements as per Client Quality Specifications.
- Create and execute Project Quality Management Plans, Permitting Plans, Verification & Validation Plans, Certification Plans, and relevant Quality Procedures in line with Company procedures and project standards.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for the Consortium Function regarding delivery of EPCI Project Quality requirements, including certifications, verification, validation, and overall quality.
- Represent the EPCI Consortium Quality & Compliance Function to clients, external bodies, and internal stakeholders, providing advisory support on all quality and compliance matters.
- Support the Project Leadership Team in developing, managing, and monitoring Quality performance, maintaining comprehensive quality statistics, analysis, and reporting.
- Establish and track achievement of all project KPIs, providing regular reports on status, trends, corrective actions, and improvements.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of Quality Control processes through Inspection and Test Plans at fabrication yards, vendor, and subcontractor sites.
- Manage and resource the Consortium Quality Management function to meet project quality goals and client requirements.
- Organize and control daily operations of the Consortium Quality Function.
- Implement and oversee the Consortium Project Quality Audit and Readiness Review Programs to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Establish and maintain a robust NCR process for the project.
- Identify and mitigate key quality issues through customer feedback, lessons learned, non-conformances, and risk management processes.
- Complete post-implementation reviews to verify successful delivery and facilitate knowledge transfer, including quality input to the close-out report.
- Motivate the Quality team and identify opportunities for continuous improvement aligned with international best practices.
- Manage activities of EPC Consortium Quality personnel to ensure QMS implementation and achievement of quality objectives.
- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and practices to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
- Conduct weekly and monthly Quality and Compliance meetings, generating reports accordingly.
- Hold project-specific meetings such as Permitting & Consents Kick-Off, Certification Kick-Off, and regular progress meetings, issuing reports to verify compliance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures to maintain safety and legislative adherence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Project Director.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Master's Degree in a relevant field or a University Degree in Engineering or Quality Discipline.
- Certified in Quality Management; Lead Auditor QMS ISO 9001:2015 certification preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Quality Management roles within EPCI Mega Projects in Oil & Gas, Power, or Renewable Energy industries.
- Proven expertise in implementing ISO 9001:2015 QMS on large projects.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance in Quality, Certification, Permitting, Verification & Validation processes.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in organizing, prioritizing, and executing Quality Management tasks on major projects.
- Competence in audit and change management processes to mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent communication skills, including meetings, presentations, and reports; fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
