Are you a seasoned consecutive medical interpreter with an eye for quality and detail?
We’re inviting internal team members to apply for the role of Consecutive Interpretation Tester to support our evaluation process for incoming interpreter applicants.
This project-based opportunity allows you to play a critical role in shaping our interpreter network by conducting and scoring mock medical interpretation assessments.
What You’ll Do
Conduct live mock assessment sessions simulating medical calls with interpreter candidates.
Evaluate candidates based on accuracy, completeness, terminology use, flow, and professionalism.
Use our standardized rubric to score and document interpreter performance.
Flag candidates who show exceptional potential or who do not meet our minimum quality standards.
Collaborate with the Training & Quality team to support final selection decisions.
Occasionally provide brief, structured feedback to candidates (as guided by the team).
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in consecutive medical interpretation.
Completion of all required internal training and compliance certifications.
Strong command of medical vocabulary and interpreter ethics.
Detail-oriented with strong judgment in evaluating performance.
Ability to remain neutral and objective in assessment scenarios.
Familiarity with Zoom and digital documentation tools.
Additional Notes
Assignments are on-demand, scheduled based on candidate flow.
Each assessment session lasts around 30–45 minutes.
All materials, rubrics, and training for this role will be provided in advance.
Participation will be recorded in your internal file and considered toward future roles like QA Analyst or Trainer.
