Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the Concierge operations, including the bell desk and doormen, ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.
  2. Ensure appropriate stock levels for the smooth run of the Concierge operations and prepare requisitions accordingly.
  3. Ensure proper coverage and supervision of the Concierge at all times.
  4. Update the arrival and departure lists, schedule transportation and airport services, and ensure all arrangements meet guest requests and needs.
  5. Provide prompt, accurate, and updated information about the city, locations, events, traffic, weather, etc., and handle bookings and arrangements.
  6. Ensure outsourced services contracted by the Concierge are of high quality and meet the hotel’s standards.
  7. Maintain the lobby free of baggage, trolleys, and obstructions, and ensure safe storage of items.
  8. Properly use all equipment and property management systems, maintaining a thorough knowledge of setups.
  9. Control room keys and section keys strictly.
  10. Review and update the Concierge logbook daily and sign it.
  11. Assign duties to subordinates, assist them, and implement daily checklists.
  12. Respect schedules, deadlines, and terms agreed with management.
  13. Promote internal activities and events, providing correct information about outlets.
  14. Keep the team updated on administrative, operational, and organizational changes.
  15. Conduct daily briefings with the Concierge team to review tasks and activities.
  16. Participate in inter-departmental meetings to promote teamwork and review standards.
  17. Share daily activity highlights with the FOM, including guest opportunities.
  18. Promote Accor loyalty programs and build long-term guest relationships.
  19. Represent the Concierge and hotel positively both inside and outside the workplace.
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
  1. Implement and monitor Focus and other financial and audit procedures.
  2. Assist the FOM in preparing forecasts and statistics.
  3. Stay informed about competitors’ offerings and rates.
  4. Adhere strictly to the department's operational budget, controlling costs and obtaining approval for expenditures.
