Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons in computer science aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Instruct students in programming, Microsoft Office, internet safety and coding principles.
  • Facilitate interactive project-based learning using educational software and tools.
  • Evaluate student performance through practical and written assessments.
  • Promote the use of technology across subjects and support digital learning initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and organized computer lab environment.
  • Update parents on student progress regularly.
  • Coordinate with teaching staff to support cross-curricular projects.
  • Ensure all practices comply with ADEK standards.

The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in computer science and digital literacy helping students develop essential 21st-century skills in a tech-driven learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach engaging lessons in computer science ICT and digital literacy aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Technical Skills Development: Instruct students in key areas such as basic programming Microsoft Office internet safety and coding principles.
  • Hands-on Learning: Facilitate interactive project-based learning using educational software hardware tools and digital platforms.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance through practical and written assessments providing timely feedback and support.
  • Technology Integration: Promote the use of technology across subjects and support digital learning initiatives within the school.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe respectful and organized computer lab environment.
  • Parental Communication: Update parents regularly on student progress and areas of improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with teaching and IT staff to support cross-curricular projects and improve technology use in classrooms.
  • Compliance: Ensure all lessons and practices comply with ADEK standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:
