Job description

A fast-growing and dynamic Crypto platform is looking for a Compliance Specialist on a fully remote basis to lead the licensing process for several new jurisdictions. Currently, the firm has a strong footprint in various APAC countries and aims to expand within the region and into the Middle East. The business is part of a larger group managed by a passionate founder and serial entrepreneur.

In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for obtaining licenses in new jurisdictions, particularly in Dubai and Labuan, leading the process from start to finish. You will act as the primary contact with regulatory bodies and keep the senior leadership team fully informed of all progress.

To qualify, you should have significant experience in securing regulatory approval for crypto firms globally. Experience working closely with regulators such as VARA in Dubai or LFSA in Labuan is preferred, though not mandatory. Experience with other VASP or MiCA jurisdictions is also advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing licensing documentation, engaging with regulators, and a comprehensive understanding of international crypto regulatory landscapes.

This position is offered remotely, with the contract type flexible—either employment or consultancy.
