Job description

A fast growing and dynamic Crytpo platform are looking for a Compliance Specialist on a fully remote basis to lead the licensing process for several new jurisdictions. At the moment the firm has a very strong footprint in several APAC countries and is looking to increase this both within the region and also in the Middle East. The business is part of a wider group which is run and managed by the founder, a serial entrepreneur who is passionate about growth.

In this position you will be the subject matter expert for attaining licenses in new jurisdictions, particularly in Dubai and Labuan, and lead the process from start to finish. You will be the key point of contact for the conversations with the regulatory bodies, and ensure the senior leadership team are keep fully updated with all progress.

To be considered for this position you will have significant experience in obtaining regulatory approval for crypto firms around the world. You will have worked closely with the regulators, ideally VARA in Dubai or the LFSA in Labuan but this is not a necessity (other VASP/MiCA jurisdictions are also looked upon favourably).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing licensing documentation, engaging with regulators, and a deep understanding of international crypto regulatory landscapes.

This position is offered on a fully remote basis, and the contract could either be an employment contract or a consultancy agreement
