Job description

QCP is Asia's leading digital asset partner, empowering clients to seamlessly integrate digital assets into their portfolios.

We offer a comprehensive range of solutions - from spot on/off ramping and fixed income strategies to vanilla options and bespoke exotics.

Driven by the vision to be the most trusted partner in digital asset markets, we provide innovative solutions that make digital assets a core component of every portfolio, balance sheet, and treasury.

Since our founding in 2017, we have witnessed the potential of digital assets to transform financial markets and the world at large. We exist at the centre of change, successfully navigating three market cycles and bridging institutional and crypto ecosystems.

We work to build trusted partnerships, putting client success and care at the heart of everything that we do.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recognize and identify risk control points in compliance processes, including AML-CFT risk ratings, KYC onboarding, ongoing screening, maintenance of customer relationships, and transaction monitoring.
  2. Implement testing frameworks to ensure compliance processes are robust and aligned with company policies.
  3. Collaborate with the Head of Compliance to map current compliance processes against regulatory requirements in Abu Dhabi.
  4. Assess and recommend enhancements, recalibrate system parameters with justification, and document changes.
  5. Prepare and monitor key risk indicators for management review, and follow up with remediation or process improvements.
  6. Stay updated on regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policies to identify new risk areas.
  7. Handle internal and external audit requests, serving as the main point of contact.
  8. Manage compliance exercises and coordinate with stakeholders on risk assessments, business continuity testing, and technology risk management.
  9. Assist in developing country-level AML-CFT frameworks and processes.
  10. Serve as the liaison for RFIs from counterparties and financial institutions, supporting investigations and responses.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end compliance processes, governance, and risk controls.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated financial institution with exposure to financial markets products.
  • Experience with Middle East compliance regulations, such as those from the Abu Dhabi Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced analytical and cognitive skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Desirable: ACAMS, ICA certifications, and knowledge of web3/crypto compliance.

Our Environment:

As a growing, close-knit team, we value employee input and provide opportunities to make an impact. We offer high autonomy, focus on substance over form, and support holistic development. Flexible working arrangements, a casual environment, and a focus on employee well-being are part of our culture.
