Job summary

KPMG Middle East in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Financial Crime Compliance professional to lead managed services engagements, focusing on AML, KYC/CDD/EDD, and regulatory compliance. You will guide due diligence, monitor UAE and international developments, and help scale client programs.

The role emphasizes integrity, risk management, training, and stakeholder collaboration across functions. A Bachelor's in a relevant field is required; professional certifications (ACAMS/CFE) are preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• ACAMS, CFE or similar certifications are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML and KYC.

Responsibilities

• Perform KYC, CDD, EDD reviews and AML/Sanctions screening for customers, employees and third parties.
• Assess compliance with UAE and international AML regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments locally and internationally and assess impact on clients.
• Support and manage compliance projects within managed services engagements.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards and updates for senior management.
• Deliver training to team members on regulatory requirements.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance coverage.
• Identify process improvements to enhance controls and efficiency.
• Support leadership in aligning compliance initiatives with business objectives.
