Job Description

The Compliance, HR & Sustainability Intern will support the Compliance & Sustainability Manager, as well as the MEAI HR Business Partner, in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) goals at the local level, specifically for Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) markets and to drive and monitor HR processes such as recruiting, performance review and employee's life cycle. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance and sustainability initiatives within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance

Monitor and report on relevant GCC laws and regulations, with a focus on UAE and KSA.

Assist in drafting and overseeing policies and procedures aligned with corporate compliance frameworks.

Collaborate with the Group Compliance & Rules team to localize and implement global compliance programs.

Coordinate with HQ and local functions on regulatory requests, project management, corporate initiatives.

Manage relationships with external legal counsels, consultants, and third-party compliance service providers.

Sustainability & ESG

Support the integration of sustainability principles into compliance frameworks.

Assist in the implementation of corporate sustainability policies at the regional level.

Contribute to data collection, reporting, and stakeholder engagement efforts at local and HQ level.

Conduct research on sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in responsible business conduct.

HR

Implementation and deployment of hiring and recruiting activities, such as: headcount planning and

budgeting, talent reviews, people development projects, organization development, compensation plans Managing all the daily aspects regarding employees

Requirements

Passion for pursuing a career in the automotive sector;

Maximum of one-year previous working experience;

Hold a degree in law or economics;

Hold a valid student or family VISA;

Fluent in English (proficiency in Italian or Arabic is a plus);

Comfortable in using new technologies, tools, and applications;

Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
