JOB DESCRIPTION

The Compliance and Assurance (C&A) Manager supports hub leads in implementing the Mace Consult quality management system, ensuring it meets business, legal, and contractual requirements. The role works closely with stakeholders to manage compliance and reduce risk.

Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the Mace way and supporting ISO 9001 certification audits across hubs, in collaboration with consult and group functional leads.

Responsibilities:

  1. Delivers assigned elements of the annual business plan on time and within budget.
  2. Manages external certification audits and supports new certifications.
  3. Plans and conducts internal audits, including reporting and follow-up actions.
  4. Investigates non-conformances, identifying root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
  5. Reviews and improves management system content and implementation.
  6. Identifies and supports new systems and process improvements.
  7. Ensures timely, accurate quality reporting and data analysis.
  8. Prepares communication materials and contributes to management reviews.
  9. Recommends actions to mitigate risk and enhance system effectiveness.
  10. Supports business development and delivers training programs.
  11. Monitors and audits supply chain quality performance, offering guidance and training.
  12. Contributes to net-zero carbon goals by managing emissions and reduction strategies.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. Strong understanding of management principles and operational controls.
  3. Experience implementing tools and techniques in operational settings.
  4. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001.
  5. Skilled in digital control tool implementation.
  6. Familiar with project controls across design, procurement, tendering, and delivery.
  7. Understanding of outsourced business models.
