Job purpose:

The Compliance Officer will be responsible to assist the Compliance Manager on the day-to-day tasks related to Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Compliance related systems internally for UAE
  • Monitor Compliance mailbox and maintain logs.
  • Organize and maintain all compliance related records and files
  • Support Compliance Manager/MLRO in regulatory communication, and preparing regulatory reports.
  • Prepare Monthly Compliance Dashboard for UAE management
  • Support Compliance Manager/MLRO in compliance assurance reviews.
  • Support Compliance Manager in Compliance/AML training to relevant employees
  • Assist Compliance Manager in Compliance Risk Assessment
  • Assist in reviewing day to day tasks related to customer screening and queries from the business.
  • Assist Compliance Manager/MLRO in preparing PEP profiles and PEP approvals
  • Manage UAE Regulations in the internal systems
  • Administrative support for UAE Governing Body meetings
  • Establish and review internal policies and procedures relating to compliance policies and procedures.

Operational & technical responsibilities

  • Proficient word and excel processing and computer skills
  • Provide support to Compliance Manager/MLRO for coordinating with respective stakeholders for compliance matters

Minimum requirements of role

Essential:

  • UAE nationals with “Family book” (Due to regulatory requirements, ONLY UAE nationals will be considered for this role).
  • University Graduate in any discipline, preferably business, commerce, financial studies graduates.
  • 1-2 years experience in Compliance and AML
  • Highly adaptable to learning internal systems

Desirable:

  • Any Compliance or AML related certification will be an advantage
