Responsibilities

• Review Project specific Scope of Work and other relevant information and specifications for Project Mechanical Completion execution
• Request qualified Engineers and Supervisors to support Mechanical Completion execution
• Request adequate equipment, tools, and consumables to be used during Mechanical Completion activities
• Coordinate with Fabrication Coordinator on schedules and potential cost impact
• Coordinate with HSE Officers on Task Risk Assessment implementation
• Prepare and identify Mechanical Completion Inspection and Test Records required in PIMS
• Supervise Mechanical Completion, discipline engineers
• Prepare execution plans and Mechanical Completion strategies
• Prepare general procedures for implementation of Mechanical Completion-related activitiesAllocate budget and estimated person-hours for Mechanical Completion-related activities
• Define systems limits
• Prepare Mechanical Completion Management System
• Support and disseminate Engineering policies and Yard procedures and participate in any improvements
• Support Division Engineering by providing input to the bid and historical data from the projects
• Attend/provide training and provide feedback/improvement as required

Qualifications

Essential Qualification and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
