Job summary

NMDC Group, Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a seasoned commissioning professional to lead Completion and Handover activities within oil and gas EPC projects. The role requires coordinating with construction, commissioning, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and on-schedule delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years in oil and gas, including at least 4 years in a commissioning leadership role, and a proven ability to manage vendors and plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant oil and gas experience with at least 4 years in a commissioning key role.

Responsibilities

• Identify completion and handover sequence aligned with project scope.
• Review PO requirements and interface with construction and commissioning for vendor management.
• Prepare plans and method statements related to commissioning scope.
• Identify equipment or software required to complete tasks.
• Lead a team in Completion and Handover activities on projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
• Report progress, flag potential problems or delays, and propose solutions.
• Review databases for pre-commissioning status and commissioning data.

Jobs at this level are responsible to ensure that tasks assigned are properly implemented as per work standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ability to identify Completion and Handover sequence in line with Project scope of work.
• Ability to perform various activities related to Vendor management such as review of PO requirements, interface with construction and commissioning
• Ability to produce plans and specific method statements related to the scope
• Identify equipment/ software required to complete assigned task.
• Leads a team to undertake Completion and Handover activities in projects.
• Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
• Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.
• Review assigned database for pre-commissioning status index and commissioning technical database.
• Perform inter-discipline checks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Minimum _10__ year’s relevant experience within the oil and gas industry with at least 4 years in a key role in Commissioning).
