Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a qualified E&I Inspector with mandatory COMPEX certification to support electrical and instrumentation inspection across project sites in the UAE. You will ensure installations comply with specifications, standards and safety requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in E&I inspection/QA/QC within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine or related sectors, and proficiency in reading P&IDs, SLDs and isometrics.

Qualifications

• COMPEX Certification is mandatory.
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I inspection / QA/QC.
• Proven experience in E&I inspection / QA/QC within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Shipyard or similar projects.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, SLDs, wiring diagrams and isometric drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify E&I works in accordance with project specs, drawings, standards and safety requirements.
• Prepare ITPs and inspection procedures.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of electrical, instrumentation and telecom installations.
• Witness and verify electrical testing including Megger tests, continuity and torque testing.
• Coordinate with site team, QA/QC and clients during inspection activities.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs and quality documentation.
