Job summary

Gulf News is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Dubai to support nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering basic patient care. You will assist patients with daily activities, maintain hygiene and comfort, monitor basic observations, and help ensure a clean and safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, transferring patients, recording vital signs where permitted, and reporting any changes to the nurse promptly.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Good observation skills and ability to report concerns promptly.
• Ability to maintain hygiene and comfort and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Support nurses with basic patient-care activities as directed.
• Measure and record basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, where permitted by facility policy.
• Assist with transferring and repositioning patients safely.
• Maintain patient comfort, hygiene, and personal cleanliness.
• Change bed linens and maintain clean and tidy patient areas.
• Assist patients with meals and hydration as required.
• Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures as directed.
