Job summary

IIQAF Group in Dubai, UAE is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Assistant to support patients and clinical teams in a hospital setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient comfort and safety, and support nurses with routine care tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate or training in Patient Care or related healthcare field preferred.
• Ability to follow nursing instructions, patient care plans, hospital policies, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients under direction of nursing staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, positioning, transfers, and daily activities as required.
• Move and transfer patients safely using appropriate procedures and equipment.
• Follow hospital policies and patient-care protocols.
• Assist the healthcare team during routine clinical and non-clinical activities.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, or changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain professional conduct and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Perform other patient care duties as assigned by supervisor or nursing team.
