Job description

We're Hiring: Community Manager (Arabic + Social Media Fluency)

Location: Preferably based in Ajman or nearby (UAE)

Awalem Media is looking for a proactive and people-centered Community Manager to join our growing team! If you love engaging with online communities, have a deep understanding of social media trends, and can represent a brand with authenticity—we want to hear from you.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with our audience across platforms: respond to comments, DMs, mentions, and tags
  2. Create and manage community-driven content and initiatives (for multiple group accounts and clients)
  3. Monitor feedback and sentiment, and communicate key insights with the internal team
  4. Organize online and offline activations (e.g., polls, challenges, giveaways, meetups)
  5. Maintain a consistent tone of voice aligned with Awalem Media's brand
  6. Moderate discussions and ensure a respectful and positive online space
  7. Occasionally support publishing and reporting duties for our social media platforms
  8. Be present on location during selected events, shoots, and social gatherings to engage with the community and capture real-time content
Requirements:
  1. MUST: Strong communication skills in Arabic and English
  2. Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
  3. 1–2 years of previous experience in managing communities or social accounts is preferred
  4. Friendly, responsive, and solutions-oriented personality
  5. Reliable, detail-oriented, and can work without constant supervision
  6. Must be based in or near Ajman
  7. Occasionally remote work is possible, depending on the task and situation
Details:
  1. Salary: 3,800 – 5,300 AED (based on experience and skill level)
  2. Working Days: 5 days per week (with occasional, not frequent, weekends coverage)
