Job description

The Community Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning organizing and managing the logistics of community events maintenance activities and operational services within public spaces. This role ensures smooth coordination between community needs service providers and facility operations to promote a safe accessible and well-maintained public environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Coordination:

  • Liaise with local communities stakeholders and service providers to understand logistical needs and schedule activities.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination for community events maintenance work and public space usage.

Logistics Planning & Management:

  • Develop plans for the movement and setup of equipment signage facilities and personnel within public spaces.
  • Coordinate deliveries waste removal security and equipment setup/takedown to minimize disruption and ensure safety.

Operational Support:

  • Support daily operations by managing the scheduling and routing of contractors vendors and community activities.
  • Fully schedule out and track yearly events across the Clients Estates and assure co-ordination is in place.
  • Monitor site conditions and adjust plans as needed to accommodate events or operational requirements.

Health Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all activities meet health and safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for logistics activities.

Resource Management:

  • Oversee allocation and use of equipment supplies and personnel.
  • Maintain records of logistical activities and resource utilization.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare reports on logistical operations issues and improvements.
  • Document community engagement activities and logistical plans.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups local authorities contractors and vendors.
  • Provide timely communication and updates regarding logistics and project schedules.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Civil Engineering Environmental Science or related field.
  • Extensive experience in FM services management particularly in public sector or public realm projects within Abu Dhabi or UAE.
  • Experience in logistics operations or community management within public spaces or facilities management.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to public space operations.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems and planning software is advantageous
