Position Overview
The role will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day workflow of the in-house creative studio. This role ensures that all creative briefs are properly scoped, resourced, and scheduled, with deadlines and deliverables met across digital, print, and multimedia projects. Working closely with the Art Directors, Creative Director, and wider team, the ideal candidate is dependable, highly visual, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Management
- Oversee the intake, prioritization, and scheduling of all creative requests within the studio, ensuring clarity and feasibility of timelines.
- Allocate design resources based on project requirements, deadlines, and team availability.
- Maintain and update the studio’s project tracking systems, calendars, and dashboards.
Communication and Coordination
- Serve as the central point of contact between creative, brand, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and review sessions to keep the team on track and aware of deadlines.
- Escalate potential delays or resourcing conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.
Quality and Process Oversight
- Ensure briefs are clear, complete, and aligned with brand requirements before work begins.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, flagging issues early and suggesting solutions.
- Support the optimization of studio processes to drive efficiency, accountability, and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communication, Creative Operations, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in a traffic/studio/project coordinator role, ideally within an in-house creative team or agency.
- Proven track record in managing multiple creative workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage cross-team expectations.
- Proficiency in project management and monthly/annual reportings.
- A collaborative and dependable mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A good visual understanding of design workflows, timelines, and resource dependencies is a must.
